The Oriana Accessible Guest Guide

At The Oriana, inclusion is more than a policy — it’s a promise. We want every guest to feel welcome, safe, and cared for. This guide outlines the accessible features, guest services, and inclusivity measures available across our hotel, dining, and leisure spaces.

 

Arrival & Parking

  • Accessible Parking: Reserved accessible car spaces are available close to reception and main entrances.

  • Step-Free Access: Ramps connect parking areas with reception and dining venues.

 

Guest Rooms & Linen

  • Linen Policy: All rooms are refreshed with crisp linen and fluffy towels on arrival. Linen is changed every three days for multi-night stays, or sooner upon request. Guests may opt out of daily linen changes to support sustainable water use.

  • Top Sheets: Optional but always provided. For guest comfort, top sheets are placed in each wardrobe, ready to use if preferred.

  • Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping service is included. Guests may request additional service, extra amenities, or turndown assistance at any time.

  • Accessibility: Guest rooms are not fully accessible. Entry to rooms involves a step, and bathrooms are not fitted with step-free showers or grab rails. A shower chair is available on request.

 

Dining & Bars

  • Accessible Venues: The Peacock Room, Bela Vista Bar, Summer Kitchen and Pool Club all feature step-free entry and flexible seating arrangements.

  • Menus: Large print menus and digital menu access (via QR code) are available. Dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and non-alcoholic requests, are warmly accommodated.

  • Service: Our team is trained to provide discreet assistance with menu reading, order placement, and carrying plates/drinks where needed.

 

Facilities & Leisure

  • Pool & Sauna: Pool area access includes wide pathways; staff can assist with pool entry and sauna bookings on request.

  • Restrooms: Accessible bathrooms are available in main guest areas.

  • Events & Functions: All function rooms are wheelchair accessible with adaptable seating.

 

Sensory & Wellness Support

  • Lighting & Sound: We aim to maintain comfortable noise and lighting levels across venues. Guests may request quieter dining spaces or private seating.

  • Wellness Options: A wide range of non-alcoholic beverages and wellness-driven menus are available.

 

Communication & Assistance

  • Staff Training: Team members receive inclusivity and accessibility training, ensuring respectful and proactive service for guests of all abilities.

  • Service Animals: Accredited service animals are welcome across all areas of the property.

  • Contactless Options: Guests can order dining via QR code.
